TAS6684-Q1: Class D amplifier supporting 1 Ohm load.

Hi Team

My customer is selecting Class D amplifier. Their load impedance is only 1 Ohm, and they require 12V power supply, real-time load diagnostics, 4 channels and 20W output power per channel. As far as I know, our TAS6684, TAS6754 and other series do not support down to 1 Ohm.

Could u kindly help to give any advice on which series or upcoming new series can meet this requirement? thanks!

    Hi

    Their output power 20W is not that large, around 6.4A peak. 

    Using Analog Gain to limit the maximum output level, should be possible to use by TAS6684. But 1ohm is too close to SL, the RTLDG may not able to support. Can't guarantee on that.
