Hi, I'm developing a project with the TAS5756 component. I can't get the loudness control to work using the incremental button. The volume and mute buttons work. I'd also like to be able to load the EQ, LOW PASS, HI PASS filters, etc. Thtas5756_dsp.h

    Hi Eugenio, 

    I'm a bit confused, so the volume button works fine on the purepath console motherboard?

    I'm not sure what you're referring to by the loudness button

    Are you using the PPC2 GUI to configure the device? This should allow you configure the EQ and filters.

    Hi Sebastian, I'm familiar with PurePath consoles.
    I work on a custom board with the TAS5756.
    I pair an SRC 4394, a display, and an MPS430G microcontroller.
    The input selection and volume mute are fine. I'd like to avoid downloading the register configuration. I'm trying to write code to use EQ and IR filters.
    For example, when I load the program, the loudness disappears.

    Hi Eugenio,

    If I understand correctly here, when you write the I2C script to the TAS5756 device the output turns off? Or the volume just reduces significantly? 

    Apologies it's still not clear to me what you're referring to as "loudness" here.

    I didn't explain myself well. I'd like to add a loudness control to the TAS5756 configuration to boost bass frequencies at low volumes. I can't find the reference codes. can you tell me a solution?

    Hi Eugenio,

    You can reference the register map in the TAS5754 datasheet, it shares the same registers as TAS5756. I didn't see EQ registers in there however and I don't have any other register documentation for this device. The GUI would be the best way to configure registers such as EQ for what you're looking for.
