LMH13000: MINVIout Clarification

Part Number: LMH13000

Hi,

What is the difference between MINVIOUT Specification shown in Section 5.5 of the datasheet (pg. 5) and Figure 5-27 (pg. 12). Why is the two data shows different MINVIOUT for the similar IOUT value?

Which one to use as reference for my design?

Best regards,

  • Hi Andi,

In the electrical table Section 5.5 of the datasheet (pg. 5) is the MINVIOUT across temperature (-40 to 125C) where as in the Figure 5-27 (pg. 12) it is plotted for room temp.

    Regards

    Anant

  • Hi Anant,

    I am a bit confused. Isn't room temp. (25C) within the -40 to 125C?

    Regards,
    Andi

  • Let me rephrase in the electrical table we are promising / testing the part to ensure it has linear IOUT capability and hence has the minimum value. We also guarantee that even if temp goes from -40 to 125 and if you have maintained this Min Viout we will ensure our current source is not crunched.

The fig shows the min headroom for a device which is selected randomly ( this makes this data typical ) and it shows the min headroom for room temperature.

Based on the the device operation temperature please choose a min VIOUT accordingly.

    hope this helps.
