Dear Sir or Madam,

I am currently a trainee in Operational Maintenance and Embedded Systems at Expleo group, based in Toulouse, France.

As part of my internship project, the project consists of developing a multi-sensor data acquisition system using an STM32 Nucleo‑F767ZI development board.

I would like to know whether Texas Instruments offers products that match the following requirements:

I am looking for a current sensing device similar to the INA239, but capable of measuring AC current.

In addition, I am also interested in a thermocouple or temperature sensing solution that provides alert or diagnostic functionality, similar to the INA700, capable of detecting abnormal conditions or deviations from nominal operation.

Additionally, if possible, I would like to ask whether samples of these components are available for evaluation and prototyping purposes within an internship framework.

I would be happy to provide any additional technical details if needed.

Thank you for using the TI forum.

The INA239 can measure both positive and negative currents, so it can do AC if your frequency is relatively low and your bus voltage is above 0V. None of our digital power monitors are designed for high frequency AC measurements or negative bus voltages.

Based on your voltage requirements, you may be able to use some of our analog devices and then use a high speed DAC. Here are our analog devices, you can adjust the filters as needed:

If your voltages are too high or too low for those, then you could use a magnetic current sensor:

If you end up being able to use our one of our digital devices, some of those (like the INA239) have an integrated temperature sensor. If not, then you can use a dedicated temperature sensor. Here is a link to the overview page:

Some devices have samples available, and some do not. When you go to the "Ordering & quality" section of a device product page, if samples are available then there is a "Request sample" button on the far right of the table (listed for each product row). After you click that button, there is a link on the bottom left of the page to add a sample to the cart. Sample availability and sample quantity may be different based on your account type as well.
