TL071B: Total harmonic distortion

Hi Team,

I'll share this E2E post with our customer so he can reply when needed.

I want to know the HD of the TL071BCP, P package. Your data sheet page 19 says ps and ns packages and Tl07xm are .003 %, but all other packages .00012 %. the TL071BCP is a p package so is this device .00012% THD?

Hi Danilo,

The package does not influence the total harmonic distortion. THD is influenced by the internal design of the op amp and internal non linearities between each stage starting with the input differential pair to the output stage. Please reference our Texas Instruments Precision Labs video series on THD below.
