TLV6001: TLV6001 differential amplifier issue

Hi,

I'm using in my design AMC1300 which provides differential output. Then this diff output is feed to the TVL6001 which is designed as differential to single ended as described in AMC1300 manual.

I have 5mOhm shunt at the input of TLV6001 with max current 20A so max input voltage is 100mV. AMC1300 have gain 8.2 so on differential output I have ~800mV. Then this is feed to TLV 6001 with

R1 = 10k, R2=19,1k, R3= 10k, R4=10k and VREF set to 3v3 (I'm using simple resisor divider). My problem is with this setup I can measure on output of TLV6001 only 1.8V and not ~3.3V. Any idea what should be checked?

Hello Marek,

The difference amplifier using TLV6001 is not balanced. The reference resistance is 19.1k + 5k = 24.1k; that doesn't match R93

Do you want the function to be VOUT = 3.3V + VIN * 1.91 limited to 3.3V and 0.0V or some other formula

Hi Ron,

Yes I need 1.65V as center then 0-1.65 is negative range and 1.65-3V3 is positive range. So VOUT should be 1.65+VIN*1.91. Is using simple resistor divider as in my case good idea or not? Thanks.
