AMC0300D: S/O: 557620

Part Number: AMC0300D

Hello, I have a customer who ordered pn: AMC0300DQDWVRQ1

per information: Customer received email from Mouser about product advisory issued by Texas Instruments.

Texas Instruments has stated: "Texas Instruments identified a potential
issue in certain products exhibiting high output noise at negative
temperatures (<-30C). At temperatures below -30C, products may exhibit:
Intermittent missing clock pulses (MODCLK) in the decoded RX stream,
corrupted clock and data signals, pulse width distortion with pulses
narrower than 4.5ns, increased signal to noise ratio (SNR), VOS (voltage
offset), and/or GE (gain error).

Approximately 0.05% of products may be impacted. The root cause of the
non-conformance is likely due to analog RX block pulse width distortion
variability being too high at temperatures below -30C. The variability may
be present at time zero. Accelerated stress testing was conducted and
confirmed no increase in risk over time from this potential issue. The
above estimates may not reflect the actual risk in your application. Your
results may vary, based upon your application and/or use conditions."

Customer looking for a replacement part.

Customer wants to know if stock was impacted by this update?

Thanks

  • Hi Alexis,

A screen has been implemented which covers the behavior described above. New shipments of this device should not be subject to this issue.

If the Ship Trace Code and Assembly Trace Codes can be provided to these email lists, stock impact can be confirmed.
