Dear team,

         We are using AMC0311S-Q1 Amplifierfor voltage sensing , we are feeding the voltage from external but the output of amplifier always providing 2.5V even the input is disconnected.

    Good morning Pradeep,

    Your device is giving you a clipping output. Here is a few reasons why this could be happening.

     

    1. Make sure your input isn't floating. If you leave your input floating the output is undefined as stated in the datasheet. According to my measurements, leaving the inputs floating leads to a clipping output. If you want to verify the output at 0V, I would recommend tying the INP and SNSN pins together.

    1. Make sure your input is less than 2.56V. If your input is between INP and SNSN is greater than 2.56V a clipping output will occur
