INA133: Temperature rating for replacement part

Part Number: INA133

The INA133U amplifier was discontinued and recommended to be replaced by INA133U/2K5. My system has a requirement for operation down to -54°C which the original part was rated to, but the replacement part is not. Is the INA133U/2K5 tested down to -54°C, and if so, can that test data be provided? If it is not tested down to that temperature, is there another drop-in part that could replace INA133U? Thanks.

  • Hi Ian,

    Thanks for using E2E!

The INA133 devices on ti.com have an operating temperature from -55°C to 125°C according to the device's datasheet.

The device will perform as specified in the datasheet electrical & typical characteristics conditions. For the specs including temperature (example: offset voltage drift), it appears that the specified temp is -40°C to 85°C, this applies for both INA133U and INA133U/2K5. Figures 5-19 and 5-20 in the datasheet were not differentiated in performance between CSOs.

Are you able to provide where it says the operating temperature is different for the INA133U/2K5 device?

    Best Regards,

    Taylor Allan
