Could you please clarify why supply current increased by new datasheet revision?

My customer would like us to clarify why this spec got worse.

Hello Itoh-san,

There was a deign and wafer process change. This change increased supply current.

Hi Ron,

Could you let me know more detailed and specific reason?

My customer is not convinced by just wafer and design change reason.

They assume the newer fab transition and design update always make Icc smaller and this looks likea an exception.

Kazuki Itoh,

Design change means complete change in schematic. Wafer change means a different set of transistors, resistors and capacitors.

Yes, unless the change makes the op amp faster with less noise.
