What is the advantage of 1L (single-inductor) modulation in the TAS67534-Q1 compared to the  two-inductor solution used in the TAS6684-Q1?

    Hi Amirthathaarani,

    There are three big advantage you can get through using TI 1L modulation IC (TAS67534-Q1).

    1. BOM cost reduction

    Since there is only single inductor on output side, you can reduce one inductor, and get cost benefit.

    2. PCB size reduction

    Since there is only single inductor on output side, you can make pcb size more smaller.

    3. Increasing the efficiency

    Since the 1L modulation make IC's switching loss lowering, you can get more higher efficiency.
