Hello.

I need an advise. I'm building an industrial acoustic sensor. On sensor stage I've placed THS4521 as output line driver. So, on receive stage there are a 16-bit bipolar single-ended ADC. I need a receiver - difference amplifier with high CMRR, low noise (for good supportig 16bit ADC), dual supply (ADC input is true bipolar). Could you advise me smth from TI?

ADC range: -3.66...3.66V, GBW >=50kHz

Maxim,

The INA134 provides the basic difference amplifier function you are seeking and is specified for very good audio performance. The INA163 would provide similar performance with the additional benefit of high input impedance buffers on the inputs.

Thanks, but output voltage swing parameter is too high (for me) in both cases: ~2V. In my app. Vcc=+5V and Vee=-5V, ADC range -3.66...+3.66V, and I would like to use full range of ADC. May be am I wrong and INA163&INA134 will be suitable?

I'm looking on INA118, could you comment my choice?

Maxim,

The noise of the INA118 is a bit high in G=1 and dynamic signal performance is not its strength. It is more of a precision DC device with low power.

I think the INA152 might be a better choice. Check it out and see what you think.
