Ealge Library for TLV3501

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TLV3501

Hi.

I want the Eagle libraries of TLV3501 for both the packaging formats: 8-pin SOIC as well as 6-pin SOT-23. Can someone provide me the link? I have been unable to find it.

Thanks.

  • Hi Neel,

TI does not have the Eagle-specific footprints for the TLV3501 you requested, but many other layout software footprints are available on the product web page. Some layout software packages do allow footprints to be imported from other producers, but since we don't use Eagle I don't know if that is the case.

The TLV3501 8-pin SOIC and 6-pin SOT package outlines conform to industry standards so the generic footprints for those packages contained within the Eagle software should be usable.

  • Neel,

As Thomas mentioned, we do not provide EAGLE-specific footprint libraries with our parts. However, after doing some searching I did find that Cadsoft maintains a site where users can submit user-created libraries for public use -- I did find a TLV3501 specific footprint here:

    http://www.cadsoftusa.com/downloads/file/tlv3501.zip

It only contains the SOT23-6 DBV_R-PDSO-G6 package footprint. Keep in mind that this footprint was created by an end user and Texas Instruments is in no way responsible for the accuracy of this footprint/schematic.

I would check the geometry and pinout of this library before using it in a design.
