OPA170 alternate

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA170, LM321, OPA171

Hello:

I'm working on a new project and was planning to use the OPA170.  However, it looks to be on a pretty long lead time right now.

So, is there another part similar to the OPA170AIDBVR (SOT-23-5) with same pin-out?

I had planned to switch from the LM321MF/LM321MFX.  Unfortunately, the pin-out of the LM321 is different than the OPA170.  So I can't use the LM321 near-term and then switch to the OPA170 later without updating the PCB.

Important parameters:
Power supply: 3V to 30V minimum operating voltage range, single supply.
Input common mode range:  Must include operation to ground.
Supply current:       < 1 mA over power supply range and temperature.
(Note that LM321 doesn't meet this.)
GBP: 1 MHz minimum.
Input offset voltage: +/- 10mV maximum over temperature.
Input offset voltage drift: +/- 5uV maximum vs temperature and vs PSRR.
Input bias current:   +/- 5nA maximum over temperature.
Input offset current: +/- 5nA maximum over temperature.
(Note that LM321 doesn't meet this.)

Any feedback, input or suggestions are welcomed and appreciated!

Thanks and regards,
Paul
  • Hi Paul,

did you look at the OPA171??  I beleive this is a pin/pin part.  It uses a bit more supply current for higher bandwith, but still less than 1ma.  also, looks to be shorter lead time.
