Ravi,
The maximum allowable power dissipation in OPA2141AID package is such as not to exceed the max junction temperature, Tj, of 150C - see below.
To calculate the actual junction temperature, you need to use the thermal resistance table (see below) which for OPA2141 SO-8 (D) package specifies junction-to-ambient thermal resistance of 160C/W, multiply it by the power dissipation inside the package, and add it to ambient temperature.
Since max output current (short-circuit) specified for OPA2141 is +36mA/-30mA (see below), you need to use it as the worst-case to calculate the max power dissipation;
For example, using OPA2141AID with +/-18V supplies at ambient 25C with input above ground and output shorted to mid-supply (GND) would result in:
Pmax=36mA*18V = 648mW and
Tj=25C+0.648W*160C/W=~129C junction temperature
while shorting the output to the negative rail would result in:
Tj=25C+36mA*36V*160C/W=~232C thus, exceeding the maximum rated junction temperature of 150C.
The last but not the least critical spec of OPA2141AID package - its weight is 79mg.
