Hi,

For current source p/n: LM334 of TI (National), the manufacturer recommend on using 1N457 diode (see page 7 on the data sheet).

This diode is in a TH package. Can you recommend on an SMD solution for it?

    Sorry about the delay in answering this question, but it was a hard post to find.

    For the application circuit, we do not have a surface mount diode to recommend as a replacement for the 1N457. I'm not sure most diode datasheets would give enough information about the temperature coefficient to make a good recommendation for a replacement.

    I do have one other source to ask, if he has a good suggestion, I'll reply to this post. If he doesn't, I'll close it out.
