OPA2211AIDDA part getting heated

In normal quiescent conditions the two supply currents are equal because no current is flowing in the other pins (output and inputs). Quiescent current flows into the V+ pin and exits the V- pin. If you are measuring higher current in the negative supply, that excess current must be flowing into one of the other pins--probably the output pin.

When this occurs it is an indication of incorrect connections or circuit, or perhaps a damaged device. Can you please provide a diagram of your test circuit?

to give an update we measured this current levels in no load and no input condition.
