Hello,
I have a very specific need for a high supply voltage, fast rise-time comparator and am considering using the THS4631 in open-loop for this. Power budget is not a concern. Would the THS4631 work well in such an application?
Thanks,
Samir

Hi,
While you're waiting for your question about the THS4631, here are a couple of sub-nano second comparators (and some slightly slower) which you can consider as well:
http://focus.ti.com/paramsearch/docs/parametricsearch.tsp?family=analog&familyId=81&uiTemplateId=NODE_STRY_PGE_T
They range in propagation delay from 0.7ns (LMH7322, LMH7324) to 4.5ns (TLV3501, TLV3502).
