Are there different standards for different packagings? I just got an OPA564 and the HSOP package is smaller than other ones to the point where I cannot use it with a DIP converter. Anyone else encounter this?

Sorry for the late reply.

According to your post, there is a mismatch in size between HSOP package and DIP converter.

Would you please elaborate on which dimension is it?

It would be helpful if there is a pattern of DIP converter with dimension (or scanned image), as we do not know how it looks like.

This will allow me to compare physical size of HSOP package and DIP converter.

Hi Andrew,

Thank you for the link. I went through it and found that there is a difference in size between HSOP package and DIP converter as follows.

HSOP (OPA564 DWD, DWP package on spec sheet page 31, 33 ) < 0.419 inch
DIP converter (AK20D300-HSOP) > 0.445 inch

It seems there is no DIP converter match with HSOP (DWD, DWP package) among the pdf.

As we have some self designed DIP converter boards for HSOP (DWD, DWP) package in our hand, we will be able to send you.

It would be appreciated if you provide your mail address and quantity.
