Does anyone know where I can get a spice model for the TL712 comparator? If not....perhaps you can suggest a different one of equivalent speed that has a model to go with it. There isn't one posted on the part page on ti.com
Thanks,
-Ted

I will be looking into this for you.
Hi Ted,
I will get a model for you. First, what simulator and version do you use?
The process of getting a model can take up to 2 weeks.
Thanks,
I use the simulator in Altium Designer 10, because this is the design package we use here for everything. However, I have had a tough time usually getting TI Spice models to work properly there. It is usually hit or miss. Sometimes they work, sometimes they don't. I recently installed TINA and started fooling with it, but it is really clunky. It may just be because I am new to it. I tried designing an Transimpedance Amplifier in TINA the other day, and couldn't get it to simulate properly at all....I was getting ready to post my sim model and see if someone could tell me what I am doing wrong.

Hi Ted,
Sometimes things don't operate the way they should when they are being simulated. It can be an extremely frustrating process. Do you like Altium? I have never used it before. I have only used Cadence and OrCad before.
I have put in a request for the models in Altium 10. Hopefully they get the job done. I will let you know when it comes in.
Thanks,
Ben
