  • Hello,

Some of the information you are asking for is explicitly shown in the datasheet (e.g. max junction temp= 150C, etc.).

Typical power dissipation depends on how the device is operated.

I'm not sure of the reason you are asking for the weight? I've not had any reason to measure the weight of an amplifier package before and it would be interesting if you tell me the reason / accuracy required of this request?

Please let me know what you are planning to do so I can better help you.

    Regards,

    Hooman

  • HI

    THANKS FOR UR INFORMATION

We are collecting the absolute values of the part. please let us know if you have any absolute values.

In datasheet few information available .

Can you please provide me few more information for the LM7171AIM/NOPB  Part ?

     2. Typical Power dissipation (Pd typ)

    3. Maximum Power dissipation (Pd max)

    5. Thermal Resistance Junction to Board (Theta JB)

  • 2. Typical Power dissipation (Pd typ)-- Power dissipation (no load, Vs=+/-15V)= 0.26W. Heavy output loading will increase this number.

    3. Maximum Power dissipation (Pd max)-- The maximum power dissipation is a function of TJ(MAX), θJA, and TA. The maximum allowable power dissipation at any ambient temperature is PD =(TJ(MAX)–TA)/θJA.

Assuming TA =85C then: PD_max= 0.38W (assuming no additional heatsinking or air flow).

    5. Thermal Resistance Junction to Board (Theta JB)-- This data is not available for this package type.

    6. Thermal Resistance Junction to Case (Theta JC)-- The closest available results from a similar device tested shows 55 deg. C/W (assuming 4.5in x 5in 2lyr., 1oz.Cu, SO-8)
