Hi,
I'm using one half of a LMH7322 as a high-speed comparator (changing an analog signal to an LVDS signal). I have no use for the other half of the device. Is there another product that I should be using instead, that will be as fast as the LMH7322 but without the extra circuit?
If not, how should I connect the unused comparator? Currently, I have it connected to the same supply voltages as its brother. In+ is connected to VEE and IN- is connected to VCCI. The latch is enabled. Could I disconnect the unused comparator from the supply voltages and save some power instead, or is there some drawback to that arrangement?
Thanks,
