INA214 gain error?

Hi,

I have a problem with the INA214. I use a 5mR shunt resistor in my current measurement. At 1A I get 150mV at the output of the INA214, at 2A 300mV, but it is supposed to have a gain of 100V/V. Supply voltage is 3.3V and the REF input is tied to ground.

I double checked the case marking, it is indeed an INA214. Do I miss something?

Hello Christoph,

Please verify that the differential voltage at the input pins of the device is 5mV. Please probe the pins of the device, not the voltage across the shunt resistor. Then please probe the output pin of the device. If there still seems to be an issue, I recommend removing the device from the application and testing it on a breadboard (you will need a DIP adapter board). Please let us know the results.
