ivc102u and dc-compensation

Hello,

while trying to amplify a very small signal generated by a photodiode (nano-amperes) with the ivc102u I would like to cancel out a dc-offset generated by ambient light.

Some values first:

  • 10 to 20 kHz Signal (with longer pauses between 4 strobes)
  • Reset-and-Integrate measurement mode (controlled by avr32 mcu)
  • 40pF feedback-capacitor of ivc chosen
  • 80µs integration time
  • 10µs reset time

I did allready find some threads regarding dc-cancellation and ivc, but none of them mentioning both.

So my actual question is: What would be a good way to cancel out the dc ambient light using the ivc102u?

Please let me know if you need more input.
