OPA564 multisim model

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA564

Hello to all,

I am trying to import a right file into Multisim component wizard but I cannot find the .cir file. This is my first time using it the multisim tool and spice models. I would really appriciate if you could help me with this problem. Did I miss something oo the page where the models are for the OPA564.

Thank you very much for any help,

Bye,

Matevz

  • Hello Matev,

The Spice model is under the "Tools and Software" section of the product folder.

    OPA564 PSpice Model (Rev. A)

This is a ZIP file containing Orcad/Allegro pre-made library and example files.

The OPA654.LIB file is the PSPICE model (in the "OPA564_PSPICE_AIO" directory) and would be the equivalent to your .CIR file.

SPICE models are simple text files, so the actual extension does not matter. Change the extension to whatever your tool expects to see. You may need to enable "Show extensions" in Windows, as it hides the extensions by default.

    Regards,

  • Hi All,

I have imported the OPA564 model in Multisim, but the results I get in the simulation is very weird which shows I might have made mistakes in pin connections. Can someone help me in this regard? ( I put .2v 1Khz sine in input in non-inverting configuration same as what was suggested in the OPA564 datasheet, and I get uV output)
