Hi...
This is Surender. I am using UA741 Op amp in our pmu application. Even-though the i/p is ZERO I am getting i/p offset voltage and o/p as 1.81V and 1.81V respectively. I applied different voltages at the i/p terminal(b/w inv and non inv) , i am getting same voltage at the o/p as there is no i/p connected.Please help me in this regard.

Any application related problem is usually caused by the way a part is being used - for that reason it is important to provide the schematic with details like supply voltage, configuration, component values and input voltages used; without such details, I may only speculate that you violate one or more datasheet specifications like the minimum +/-9V supply voltage (min 18V single supply), maximum input/output swing within 3V of either rail, etc. - see below.
