Hi,
a customer wants to use the NE555PWRG4 in TSSOP8 package for the temperature range of -25°C - +85°C.
Do you know which will be the limitations in this temp range even though the part is testet only for 0-70degrees?
Thx

Frederik,
There are only 25C specifications listed in the data sheet for NE, SA, and NA versions of the 555. The NE555PWRG4 is expected to work as well as a SA555PWRG4 if it were available, but it is not. However I can't officially 'support up-screening'. If the volume is large, then I can make a case for adding a PW option for SA555.
Hi Ron,
thanks for your feedback.
So the NE and SA versions are based on same silicon only that the PW package is not tested for the extended temp range?
Is there any experience when running the PW package at temps higher than 70 degrees?
thx again
