Resistor Vs Capacitive load of OPA847

Hi everyone,

I design high speed amplifier using capacitive load but I have some question if I use value of resistor more than recommended, Is it stable ?

Best regards

  • Hello,

If you use an isolation resistor (Rs) larger than the recommended value, your circuit will be stable. Keep in mind that a higher Rs may lower the roll-off frequency in the "Normalized Gain to Capacitive Load" plot, but there are no stability concerns.
