PGA280 Tina Model

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: PGA280, STRIKE, XTR300

Hi Guys,

What's the plan for PGA280 spice model?  I would really value one for Teradyne design we are working on...

Please include noise, input and output swing.

Thanks,

Dan

  • Hi Dan,

We have given much consideration to a PGA280 simulation model. It is a difficult simulation model to define and construct because it is a analog system on a chip with multiple modes and functions. It is sometimes difficult to strike a balance between an accurate model and one that PSpice can actually handle and provide good convergence. A statement of work has been developed for the PGA280, but a model that includes all of the complexities has not been started. There is additional product characterization that must be performed before that can take place.

Our management is evaluating the best ways to satisfy model needs for complex analog product like the PGA280 and XTR300. As soon as some decisions have been made then we should be able to provide you a better answer.

    Regards, Thomas
