temperature simulation of OPA2141AID in Tina

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2141, TINA-TI

When I tried to measure temperature analysis of OPA2141, I could see the error sentense that is 'Node number out of range'.

I don't understand what it means.

Could you let me know that what should I do to measure temperature analysis?

( I used reference circuit of OPA2141 in Tina)

  • Hello Saemyi,

The OPA2141 TINA simulation model although very complete in terms of the number of parameters it includes, does not include drift parameters. Therefore, the results you receive at some test temperature may not be much different than what you receive at room temperature. I just did a voltage offset sweep from -40 C, to +100 C on the web page reference design, and the output refered offset remained at 2.01 mV over the entire temperature range (Analysis > DC Analysis > Temperature Analysis). I didn't reveive the error.

I did a search of the Webench Tools E2E forum and found a meassge related to node error you received. The Webench group which oversees TINA-TI inquiries posted this:

    http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/webench_design_center/f/234/t/311231.aspx

It appears they are aware of a problem and investigating.

    Regards, Thomas
