Gas Sensor problem with LMP91000EVM

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMP91000EVM, LMP91000

HI, I am now working on the LMP91000EVM gas sensor for just trying to see the temperature of the room. I have connected a 3.3V to Vdd, and grounded GND1-4, and I got approx. 2.5V on Vref, but my Vout is around 2.47V, which is a lot way off than the value( voltage temperature convert value) compare to those from the datasheet.

So can anyone give me an idea where I did wrong.

Thank you

  • Hi Gary,

from your email I  undestand that you are using the EVM in a standalone mode (without the SPIO4 board).

Please refer to the user's guide ( http://www.ti.com/lit/pdf/snau121) to check your connections.

P.S. Make sure that you are programming the LMP91000 in the right way through the I2C bus (also in this case refer to the user's guide)  in order to have the temperature at VOUT pin.

    regards,

    Domenico
