AMC1200 PSpice model...

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: AMC1200

Dears,

Is there anyone can support AMC1200 PSpice model for OrCAD v16.5?

Only I can find on TI website is the model for TI-TINA.

Or any way to convert TI-TINA to OrCAD model?

Thanks.

  • Hello Peter Tseng,

It is my understanding that the model is compatible with PSpice. I would suggest to enter the macro-model in the TINA reference design (http://www.ti.com/analog/docs/litabsmultiplefilelist.tsp?literatureNumber=sbam098&docCategoryId=4&familyId=512) and copy it into OrCAD (assigning it a schematic symbol and matching the pins).

    Hope this helps. Best regards,

    Jose

  • Dear Jose,

    Thanks your reply!

After check with customer engineer, they had try to convert from Spice to PSpice but fail!

Did you have step by step guide for me to show how to convert it to PSpice file?

    Thanks.

  • Hello Peter Tseng,

The following post has the steps:

    http://e2e.ti.com/support/development_tools/webench_design_center/f/234/t/91420.aspx

the only difference is that your customer will need to create their own symbol for the AMC1200.

    Best regards,

    Jose
