Hello,

can i short circuit Io and Iret of XTR117 and connect to system ground?

Does it damage the XTR117?

    Hello Ngoc,

    No, do not short IO and IRET together.  Doing this would certainly result in improper circuit operation and may result in damage to the XTR117 depending on the voltages applied and resulting currents. 

    There are many posts on this external E2E forum regarding this issue, I suggest you search through a few and read the questions and answers.
