Greetings,
I am building a very simple circuit. I need to take a 0V to 1V signal and produce a -5V to 5V signal. I would like to do this with one of the INA series instrumentation amplifiers. I feel it would be easiest to have one of these units produce a gain of 10 and then offset the signal by 5V. Can this be accomplished by connecting a -5V reference sourse, i.e. a negative linear regulator, to the reference pin of the amplifier in order to bring the signal down or should I simply ground the reference pin and connect the output to a difference amplifier with unity gain? Thanks in advance for the help!
