Is there an EVM for a DRV103?
It would be very helpful to have one. Prototyping surface-mount devices is not very convenient otherwise.
BTW, how do we know what TI group is responsible for any given product?

Hello Neil,
No, unfortunately we do not have an EVM for the DRV10x products.
I am not sure what resources are available to map products to TI groups. In the case of the DRV103 it is listed under Semiconductors > Amplifiers and Linear > Special Function Amplifier which is the correct support structure (Amplifiers and Linear).
If you could message me directly from the forum I can try to see if we have any alternatives to the EVM.
Best regards,
Jose
Hi Neil,
The DRV103 is now supported by the Energy Solutions group. Jose provides applications support for their products. Formerly, when Precision Analog provided the DRV103 support, we produced a small DRV103 PC board that accommodated the surface-mount device, timing resistors/capacitors and the output protection diode. We still have some of those boards on hand and we could certainly provide you a few. It isn't a complete EVM, but is a very usable board for evaluating DRV103 circuits.

Thanks, Tom.
"Energy Solutions Group"? ...umm, OK.
Yes, I'd like to have a few DRV103 PCBs-- whatever you can spare. I'll be in town tomorrow (Thursday) so I can meet you and pick them up; if you are tied up, can you leave them with the receptionist at the front desk.
Thanks again, Tom.
Hi Neil,
I have the DRV103 boards ready for you. They will be with the security officer at the main desk. Please have him call me and I'll come out to see you if time permits.
