DRV411EVM 2 out of 4 work

We purchased 4 development kits. Only 2 of the 4 worked at any point. One of the working ones was damaged.

The two that never worked are a major concern. We put in a ticket for support, but have heard nothing in a few days. Phone calls aren't returned. 

We are not seeing any 'spinning' or meaningful signals of any kind from the eval board.

Anybody else seeing similar fail modes?

    Hi Grant,

    I'm sorry to hear that you are having trouble with the DRV411EVM.  Can you tell me the conditions under which you determined that 2 of the boards never worked?  What sort of Hall element are you using with the EVM?

    We are using the Asahi HW-101A at present.  We have used a few other Hall devices and also a "4 resistor network bridge", 1K Ohms each to simulate a Hall device.  If you look at the all 4 of the Hall device pins, . .  on the board that is working, you can clearly see the Hall Spinning happening at a 1MHz rate on all pins.  On the boards that do not work, you only see one of these pins pulsing or the other boards, no spinning at all no matter what Hall device is connected.  Seems like a bad chip, . . but on this many boards??
