Other Parts Discussed in Thread: TL084
I have a TL084 amplifier configured as a difference amplifier. During a known condition the inputs can go more negative than the negative supply rail. The input current is limited to less than 1 ma. We are seeing a phase reversal on the output of the circuit. This condition is acceptable however I have read that certain amplifiers may latch up or be damaged by this condition. Is this true for the TL084?
