XTR117 won't function.

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR117, XTR111

The circuit is almost a copy from page 6 of the specification.

The Vref provides 3.3V which makes the 4mA.

The Voltage applied thru R85 is 0 - 10Vdc, or 0 - 16mA, as the XTR117 would interpret.

What is not shown here is a 250 ohm resistor, from Pin 4 I-O to DGND.

As you can tell, the circuit has 15Vdc provided thru D19.

Pin 7 = 14.62Vdc

Pin 6 = 3.708Vdc

Pin 5 = 3.068Vdc

Pin 4 = 0.015Vdc

The idea is, 4 to 20 mA translates to 1 to 5Vdc thru a precision 250 ohm Resistor.

And I am connecting the Resistor directly to Pin 4, and avoiding the Bridge.

Why is there no output?
