PGA309's EEPROM programmed flag TI was changed despite of OWD bit is set to 1

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: XTR115, PGA309

Hello

Our pressure sensor products are formed by PGA309 and XTR115.

Maybe because of field noise,we found that PGA309's EEPROM programmed flag  TI was changed despite of OWD bit is set to 1.so no output is from our pressure senor.

Could you give me some advices?

Thank you.

Best regards

Weiming

  • Hello Weiming,

Can you give the estimated percent of systems experiencing this issue? What kind of noise is present on the power supply lines?

Even when OWD is set high, communication can still occur during a 33ms window at power-on. To prevent unwanted communication during this time, we recommend using an EMI/RFI filtering circuit like the one shown in the PGA309 User's Guide, Figure 4-21.

Similar EMI/RFI protection may also be required on the SDA/SCL lines to the EEPROM.
