I'm looking for an EVM for the OPA548. The universal op amp EVM is linked in the product folder, however it doesn't appear to support the 7-pin TO-220 package. Does this part have an EVM for this package?

Do we have a device with comparable operation to the OPA548 that will work with the universal op amp EVM board?

    We do not have a device that is usable with the universal op amp EVM and replicates the OPA548 electrical performances. Any EVM for the OPA548 requires a unique design that accommodates its high current, voltage and power capabilities.

    We recognized the need for an OPA548 EVM some time ago and have been actively developing one for some time. It is almost a reality. We are doing the final testing and documentation before submitting it to TI's EVM review group. That will happen within the next week. The EVM review by an external group is a new process for us and we are not quite sure what the expectations will be. If that goes well, then we will have things in place to have a contract house build the first run of OPA548 EVMs. My guess is that if things go well they would be available in about a month.

    I do have prototypes of the EVM in the lab. They are earlier versions that vary slightly from the final version. The documentation we are finalizing is probably 99 % accurate in relation to them. The latest changes have been minor, but relate to the final version. These EVMs have the OPA548, heatsink and other components mounted on them. They can be used with single, or dual, supplies and have all the level-shifting circuits included to do so. If you would like to get started on your project now I can send you one of them and the non-finalized documentation. If you need a finalized version, then they will be available through the TI store sometime in the not-too-distant future.
