Hello,

Can I use OPA2188 with V+=26V, V-=-10V?
I think that we can use with this condition.
If yes, are there any specification difference from V+=18V, V=-18V.

Best Regards,

  • Ryuji,

    You may use any combination of supply voltages to power OPA2188 as long as the total voltage between the supplies does NOT exceed 36V.  Therefore, +26V/-10V you inquire about meet this requirement.

    As far as the datasheet specifications are concern, they are defined with respect to the rails, thus as long as you do not violate them there should be no difference in performance. This means, for example,  that the input common-mode voltage range is in your case from -10V to +24.5V while the AOL linear output swing requires output voltage to be between -9.5V and +25.5V;

  • Hello Marek san,

    Thank you for the reply. I undesrstood.
    Can I apply this idea to all dual supply amplifier?
