opa690 model file and datasheet - oct 2015

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA2690

Hello,

For third part simulators, such as Pspice or LTspice, which model file is to be extracted and used from downloaded zip file ?   ( there are files with extensions such as   .DSN ,  .LIB ,  .OLB ,  OPJ )

Thank you,

DL

  • Hello Duuk,

The .LIB file is the SPICE model file which should be imported into other simulators. You may need to rename the extension to .CIR, .MOD or .TXT for the tool recognize it. It is a text file and can be opened in any text editor (ie: Notepad) to view.

The DSN, OLB and OPJ files are specific to the Orcad/Cadence simulation package and contain the symbol.

  • Hi Paul,

Thank you for the clarification which is very helpful.

For the part OPA2690 datasheet, Fig 37 is for AC performance simulation. However that schematic is a high pass version, or more accurately a band-pass circuit. Then, while AC performance based on Fig 37 has low-pass in fig. 26~27 ?

    Thanks!
