OPA2340PA

We're looking at using the OPA2340PA in an absolute value circuit application. The product appears on the distributors web site (and on the TI web site too) having a "G4" suffix. We can't find any reference to what the G4 means - other than it seems to be less expensive.

Can anyone provide some clarification please...?

Thanks

Ken

  • Ken,

The G4 suffix goes back some 15 years to differentiate it from those packages using lead in their leadframes. It is nowadays, however, moot point since to the best of my knowledge all of our products are lead-free.
