LM2903 Monostable?

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LM2903

Regarding the LM2903:

-        Can you confirm if this device Monostable?

  • a.k.a. does it tend to a known output when no input is connected?

  • Kai,

With floating inputs, the input stage will cut off meaning the transistors are off.
The NPN mirror is also off so no output from there.
Bias goes to the main NPN output base so the output will be low.

The data sheet doesn't promise this, but that is what will happen.
