LMV358IDR oscilations after cooling

We have an unexpected output behaviour after local cooling. We use LMV358 as simple inverting amplifier, Au=10, Vcc=5V.

Problem seems to be a hidden defect, demonstrable either by low temperature (-30 degC), high temperature (60 degC) or load test, or combinations thereof.
Problem isn’t connected to design and PCB layout
Problem is specific for limited quantity of LMV358IDR by Ti
THe issue has 10 percert of LMV from the reil

Jan,

The pulsed wave shape at a roughly 10 MHz rate plus 5V supply indicate an internal bias circuit oscillation issue.
The only way to avoid this possibility is to replace the LMV358 with LMV358-N which was redesigned to eliminate this issue.

Hi Ronald,

pleas can you explain the issue in more detail?
- Is there any typical condition or initiation to get the wrong state of LMV358?
- Is there any known workaround, means different from replacement by LMV358N?
- Is there any official statement from TI about this issue? I can't find errata or note in datasheet.
- How long is this issue known?
- Is the problem reported by many customers?

Zdened,

VCC near 5V and cold temperature makes the issue more likely.
