INA827

Hello Dan,

While we don't have an application note specifically for using the INA827 for biopotential measurement, there is quite a bit of information that may be of use. Here are some links:

This page provides a brief description of the complexities involved with ECG acquisition and has some resources at the bottom of the page. I recommend looking at the "Design Considerations for ECG Systems" PDF file.

2) TI Precision Design 116: http://www.ti.com/tool/TIPD116

This TIPD uses a discrete 2 op amp diff-in, diff-out instrumentation amplifier. This topology provides a differential signal for the ADC. The INA827 is a diff-in, single-ended out device. Therefore the circuit (and ADC) would have to be updated.

3) Michigan State ECG Project: www.egr.msu.edu/.../

This project was sponsored by TI. The team built a working ECG demo board, but it uses the INA333. Nonetheless the basic topology is likely to be similar to what you're interested in building.

Is INA826 a better choice for low level EMG/EEG?- it is RRO unlike the 827 that has 0.9V wasted from reaching the 3.3V supply.
I am also interested in your SPO2 application and IR body temperature application (Other than the data sheets)
