LMH6628 TINA SPICE model defect, uses node 0 internally which creates large current spikes

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: LMH6628

Dear TI:

Please fix the LMH6628 TINA SPICE model.

Since the model runs from V+ and V- only (there is no ground pin) there should not be any node 0 (ground) connections in the model.

Look inside the macro model and node 0 is used in numerous places which greatly limits the usefulness of the model and also indicates the model is incorrect.

I updated all TINA SPICE models today(2016-04-10) and believe this is the most current model from TI.

If the model is used in a system where V+ and V- are offset away from the node 0 SPICE ground the model fails immediately with ground currents flowing in strange places causing "Bad-Wolf" glitches in the output.  Reminded me of the Dr. Who episode "Bad-Wolf" causing explosions all over.

Did I missed something; is there a reason to use node 0 in an op-amp model?

Best regards,

Kellee Jane
