Low input noise amplifier

Other Parts Discussed in Thread: OPA134, OPA211, OPA172, OPA1688, OPA209, OPA1611, OPA320, OPA141, OPA140

Hello,

I'm looking for a low input noise voltage amplifier to amplify a really small voltage signal(2uV).  I'm also looking for a good current amplifier to amplify a small current signal(90 pA) in another application.  What TI op-amps should I look at.  My signal can be from ON-1MHz. input load is <20 Ohms.

Thanks,

Mark

  • Opps..  90nA not pA.

  • Hi Mark,

Take a look at the OPA134, OPA211, OPA209, OPA172, OPA1611, and OPA1688 devices. There are a large number of options depending on what else is important in your application. Please provide more information regarding supply voltage, supply current, bandwidth, input bias current, offset voltage, drift, etc.

For the transimpedance amplifier (I to V) consider the OPA320, OPA134, OPA140, or OPA141 devices. Again, there are many choices so please provide more information about the application.
