LF412 frequency response at unity gain

Hi,

I simulated unity gain and gain - 5 inverting amplifier in P-Spice.

I plotted their frequency response. 

For gain-5 response is normal, i.e., gain decreases with increase in frequency.

But, for unity gain amplifier, gain is increasing with frequency.

I am not able to understand the reason for this, The response is same till gain of 4. 

Then, it becomes normal.

It would be really helpful if someone explains reason for this to me.

    Hello Ankita,

    Most likely you are seeing the results of "peaking" in the follower. Does the follower have a feedback resistor? What is the source impedance and supply voltage? What is the output load (Capacitive? Resistive?).

    Please post your schematic and/or simulation file.
