INA226 Alert Pin operation when Power Down mode

Is the Alert pin of INA226 operated on power down mode?
Or the Alert function is disabled on power down mode?

    Hi Ryuji,

     

    The simple answer is the Alert pin or Alert function (two related but different things) will stop working in Shut Down or Power Down (PD) mode, the reason being that no new conversions are carried out, the Alert pin/function will not change state. In this sense the Alert pin/function stop working.

     

    However I think you are probably asking whether the ALERT pin will reset once INA226 is put into PD mode. If the Alert function/pin have been triggered, they remain triggered even in PD mode unless cleared explicitly.
